Jerry Lisenby, who was the oldest participant of the Biggest Loser, showed what he was made of when he lost 31 pounds in one week. This man who can be considered almost a senior. Outshone and outdid the younger generation in his brief stay on the biggest loser ranch!

I was not pleased to see his demise. I was rooting for him to make it to the big finish.
However! As much as the biggest loser really helps people strive and achieve goals, which also increase the participant’s confidence and happiness. It is still a game! His team voted him out because they felt he did not need to be there and he could achieve losing the rest of his weight on his own at home. They were right! Jerry looks fantastic today!

Yet, the team also voted Jerry out, because he was a threat to perhaps win the cash!
Jerry is impressive! This sixty- two year old man pushed himself beyond expectation! I loved seeing how successful he was with his goals.

Jerry said he went on the show, so he could have some extra life and time for his grandchildren and now he shall.

I haven’t remembered a participant in the biggest loser that I have liked as much as I
liked Jerry! I do feel he was robbed, but it is of no matter, because he looks great today and he is able to enjoy his family and grandchildren more. He is able to participate very actively with them.

Jerry represents that seniors and elders are not to be dismissed by the younger generations! Seniors have much to offer even in retirement! They have wisdom and they have lived in a different part of history. They can guide the younger generation in every facet of life because of their longevity , live experience and knowledge.

Seniors also have added to our knowledge repertoire of having courage and the strength to overcome obstacles through the power of their knowledge and life experience.

Kudos’s to Jerry for succeeding in his goals and standing up tall for his convictions!
