So I went up five pounds in November but I’ve gotten two of them back off so far this week. I will reclaim my ticker! I shall conquer! I still struggle with that whole “remembering to drink water” thing. Shanna suggested that I focus on getting enough for a few days and then my body will become acclimatized and remind me when I haven’t had enough. I’m going to have to try that — every other memory device I’ve tried has failed. Oh! I just thought of one! If I drink a glass of water every time I check my e-mail, that would be enough. I’m a total e-mail addict. I’ll have to let you know how that goes. I’m sure you noticed I’ve taken off the food journal from the sidebar — it was too hard to remember to record everything online. I am keeping a notebook, though, and that’s helpful, although it wasn’t pleasant to admit that there may have been a Ben and Jerry “Cinnamon Buns” escapade yesterday. I say “may” because the whole thing is such a blur . . . it happened so fast . . . Overall, I’m feeling good about this week’s progress and am looking forward to seeing if I can get one more half-pound off before next Monday. My goal is ten pounds a month, so that equals out to two and a half pounds a week. We’re working on it! I will, of course, make adjustments as needed. I’m not going to hurt myself over this, but I’m not going to get all soft on myself either.

“Biggest Dummy” So how come Nicole’s dum ass dove into 3 feet of water last night on “The Biggest Loser?” What was she thinking. And then on top of it the signs were posted everywhere. She is a mess! But back to the real subject. It is amazing how much these people’s health have changed in the last 3 months. I hope that “B” can continue on his healthy diet. Although I do predict that if anyone gets back fat its going to be him. It shows that it truly is a struggle to change your eating habits once you have had bad ones for so long. The pole challenge was a bust because it didn’t last near as long as the first time they had it on season 3 with Suzy. “B” was voted off last night and took it to heart. This is the first time in “Biggest Loser” history that a whole team has been picked off one by one before the final four. I wonder if Kim is going to be back next year considering her track history with contestants.Since the end of the show “B” has lost a total of 118 pounds and went from a 52 waist to a 40.
