I’m so very happy that Michelle wound up to be The Biggest Loser. She has such an adorable smile and her after photos would have you think that she’d always looked the way she does now. Absolutely unimageinable that she lost 110 pounds!

In addition to all the weight she lost, she lost quite a bit of emotional baggage as well. Season 6 of The Biggest Loser consisted of eight family teams. Michelle and her mother, Renee, struggled through week after week of losing weight, getting healthy, and restoring their relationship. Michelle learned that she wasn’t the cause for her parents breakup and that even though she hadn’t had a real relationship with her mother for five years, her mother still loved and adored her.

Just as astounding is the weight lost by Heba. Heba was the heaviest woman at the start at 294 pounds. She went on to win the at-home side of the contest and lost over 130 pounds. Both Heba and Ed, her husband, were left for the viewer’s choice and the viewers opted to send Heba home.

Throughout the contest you could see wheels turning to see who was going to turn on who and how the week was going to shake out. For a few, this was a total game with only the $250,000 as a goal. For most of the others, this was an opportunity to get their life back, to get healthy, and for Ed and Heba, a chance to start really thinking about having kids.

Without question, I don’t think I would have enough strength to compete in something like The Biggest Loser (even though my friend Kelley continually threatens me that she’s going to sign me up), but I must admit that I wouldn’t mind having a chance to get healthy again - maybe lose all these unnecessary aches and pains. And all these unwanted extra pounds…

The Biggest Loser Couples starts Tuesday, January 6th at 8pm Eastern on NBC.

I want to talk to you about a new diet I came upon recently called the Top Secret Fat Loss Secret by Dr. Suzanne Gundakunst. As part of my New Year’s resolution, I am trying to lose a few pounds and a friend of mine in Houston pointed the site out to me. I wanted to give my loyal readers a Top Secret Fat Loss Secret review so you know the truth about the program.

At first I was a little skeptical since Dr. Suzanne’s page seems a lot like other fat loss secret sites, and quite frankly the parasites she talks about on the page are a little disturbing looking and scare me…haha.

I bought the 49 page Elite Level book anyway and I was pleasantly surprised by what it contained. Dr. Suzanne doesn’t start off the book by proclaiming that her Top Secret Fat Loss Secret is the magic bullet, one size fits all diet, because as we know, a diet like that doesn’t exist. She talks about what makes up a good weight loss diet and how to find the best weight loss plan for YOU.

In the book Dr. Suzanne breaks down the causes for excessive weight gain in plain and simple English, in a way that everyone can understand. I really liked the fact that she was upfront and honest about things, rather than looking to sell us on a product or pill like most other weight loss programs do.
She suggests some natural remedies and colon cleanses that work as a detox for your body that helps to get rid of stubborn fat you have been trying to get rid of for years. The key in the book is to get rid of stomach fat, as well as fat around your hips and thighs, which is where most of my problem areas are, and I suspect for most other people as well.

In the end I found that Dr. Suzanne Gundakunst’s Top Secret Fat Loss Secret program was well worth my money, and is priced much cheaper than many other similar products out there.

As an added bonus Dr. Suzanne offered our readers $20 off her pro-version and $30 off her elite version. That means you can lose 20-50 pounds or more for just $37 (pro version) or $57 (elite version). You need to act fast though, she is only extending this offer to our readers for the next 7 days. If you want to lose 20-50 pounds or more in the next 30 days, click here to order the Top Secret Fat Loss Secret program today.
